Cars

Post by AndrewFields »

I know we have feature-specific threads here about our cars but we don't have a general vehicular discussion thread. Hence, this. There was one that was lost in the Great Board Crash of 2008. I'll get us started.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, purchased new it now has 114,000 miles on it. Features include but are not limited to full-time all wheel drive, power everything, A/C, heated mirrors, rear wiper/washer, intermittent front wipers, 6-speaker stereo, automatic transmission, cruise control, front and side impact airbags, front and rear fog lights, 2.7-liter V6 engine, and four wheel disc brakes (no ABS, though :Cry1:)

Quirky speedometer reads to 130 mph, for some reason. Why not an even number? Only the Koreans know. Not that it matters, it won't got over 110 anyway. :OhWell: As the odometer in this photo will show you, this picture was taken during her younger days.

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.
