you cant re stripe a gate more lazy than this

you cant re stripe a gate more lazy than this

i found that two of the four gates in Fresno ca on central ave are half- striped in a lazy way i mean the bottom of the gate is striped diagonally while the top of the gate is striped straight here is the gsv https://www.google.com/maps/place/3115+ ... 19.7351408
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

That happens all the time, usually when one section gets damaged that wouldn't necessitate the replacement of the entire gate arm. Much more economical for the railroads just to replace the damaged section than to install a whole new gate arm, especially on longer arms.

I did not know this was a common thing.
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!
