*originally recorded on 10-30-18*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, an NEG electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and Alstom LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, 1 WCH 12x20 inch light with an Electro-tech LED, 1 Federal Signal 12x20 inch light with an Electro-tech LED, an NEG electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and Alstom LED gate lights.
Now for the newest signals I recorded along the UP Reno Industrial Lead, which were installed a few years ago to replace some Griswold EM signals that were here. However, the right-hand signal almost appears to be made of mostly spare parts, as it uses WCH 2nd Generation LEDs in four of the lights, the bell is mounted on top of the mast (rare for new UP installs), and the side lights are re-used from the old EM signals that were here. Also note that the 2 Tracks sign on the near signal is mounted below the lights, while the far signal has it between the lights and crossbuck. The far signal is a much more standard UP signal for the time. Around this crossing is a ton of customers that it appears that UP switches on different days, along with a small four-track yard just south of the crossing.
They/Them for me, please.
