Welcome to the forums!

Interesting how the crossing is equipped with beacons. The way it's set up to go through the middle of two streets reminds me of the setup in Ashland, Virginia.

Here it is activated.

The high speed trains signs are interesting too!

The aforementioned signs must be new; they weren't there in 2012.

Sounds like they installed the soundboards of GS Type-1s into those bells.

Sorry for replying so late.
This crossing is on the RTD W line that didn't open until 2013. The signs were probably added in 2013.

I'm thinking they must've fit some Novax speakers into them. They can make that sound and it seems like a lot of the newer ones have that pause every few seconds, for some reason.
They/Them for me, please.

I went back to the crossing recently and saw I was wrong about some things. The 4 WCH e-bells at the crossing are dead or disconnected. The GS type 1 sound is from speakers on the signals. This is probably because the crossing is in a quiet zone. Not every crossing on the RTD W line is like this.

This crossing is not in a quiet zone, so the bells are normal.

This crossing is in a quiet zone, but the bells are normal.

This video shows the speaker. Sorry for not getting a full video, as I needed to catch the light rail.

Yea, those are Novax speakers. Seen a few before myself, and they seem to be showing up on Light Rail lines more.
They/Them for me, please.
