*originally recorded on 2-12-19*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.

This was another interesting crossing, and one I'm quite glad I was able to record, as it is the first crossing I've ever seen with a pair of Safetran WT/F cantilevers! This crossing is also an early 2000s NS install, and is practically unchanged from when it was installed, aside from the gate lights and part of the gate arm on the far signal having been replaced. I had honestly thought that this might've been an early to mid 2000s install with a GS Type 2, but was pleasantly surprised to see it's a bit older than that with a GS Type 1. The gate arm on the right seems to lower rather quickly.
They/Them for me, please.

After catching NS 733 again, I went back over to this crossing to get a newer video of it, as I always like it and hadn't recorded it in a few years. After a little bit of waiting, my third Memphis West train of the day came through: NS 284 with a BNSF ET44C4 leading a pair of BNSF ES44C4s for power.

Since I was last here, NS has replaced both of the gate arms here, along with the gate lights on the closer signal. Thankfully, these late-90s Safetran WT/F cantilevers NS installed are basically still the same otherwise, which is quite nice to see. I'm especially glad to see this crossing (and the neighboring Fillmore Street) still has its GS Type 1 e-bell.
