*originally recorded on 3-27-19*
Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, a WCH Type 4(?) electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO incandescent gate lights.
Signal on the far right: 3 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, a WCH Type 4(?) electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, a RECO LED gate light, and two RECO incandescent gate lights.
Signal on the near right: 3 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO incandescent gate lights.
This was another crossing I had been wanting to get, as this crossing was a pure SCL install for many years. However, sometime within the past few years, if not within the past few months, two of the Safetran mechanical bells were replaced with a pair of WCH e-bells set to their slowest speeds. They also seem to start at a slightly different time, so it certainly makes for an interesting sound hearing them go back and forth. Fortunately, the one remaining Safetran mechanical bell here still works, and hopefully will do so for many more years to come. This crossing also still has all incandescent gate lights, save for one on the far right-hand signal. Also, the gate on the left-hand signal doesn't seem to lower all the way.
Birmingham-Rail Productions shot a video of the ATN this crossing back in 2014, where all three of the original Safetran mechanical bells can be heard:
