*originally recorded on 4-3-19*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights, 1 pair of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and Progress Rail(?) gate lights.

After getting the ATN in Odenville, I chased them down to this crossing. It features a pair of 1980s CSX signals that are mostly unchanged from when they were installed. Sometime between 2014 and 2016, the gate arms and gate lights were replaced with the current ones. Then, sometime after I visited the crossing in 2016, the original WCH mechanical bell on the right-hand signal was replaced with the current GS Type 3 e-bell. It appears that the lights on the right-hand signal were touched-up around this time as well, as they don't appear to be as faded as they were back in 2016. For a long time, I had thought that this crossing was in Odenville, AL, but it turns out that it's actually in a town called Margaret. I'll have to get that fixed on the site later.

This was the next crossing we chased Z390 to was this crossing in Margaret. Nothing much has changed here since I was last here with Chuttlely, but it is worth noting that both gate arms were replaced with newer ones (that feature the older striping, oddly enough) and the gate lights are now all RECO LEDs. Both signals appear to have had the lower parts of the masts repainted, along with the mast-mounted lights (but not the cantilever lights, oddly enough).
