Old CSX logo...

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

Old CSX logo...

Post by luke »

Before CSX became a railroad, there was the holding company CSX Corp.

This logo, IMO, would be great to be put back into use, as it emphasizes the meaning of CSX: :TUP2:

C= Chessie
S= Seaboard
X= Multiplied

This old 1981 logo says it all.

Very cool. From what I read it was Chessie & Seaboard and the X (as you said) stood for multiplication meaning 'Together we are so much more'.

But that was from Wikipedia. Take it with a grain of salt.
You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.
