Signal on the left: 3 pairs of US&S 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs, 1 pair of RSI 12x20 inch lights with RSI LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 6 pairs of US&S 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs, a "No Left Turn" LED blank-out sign, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
After I caught the ATN switching in Guntersville, they went down to Albertville to switch the customer just off of US 431 while I went and documented a few crossings around Albertville. After a while, they finished-up switching and continued onto Gadsden, so I caught them at this crossing in downtown Albertville.
IMHO, this crossing is a pretty nice one. The signals appear to be standard Omnitrax signals from the mid-2000s, likely having been installed not long after CSX sold this line off. Originally, all of the lights here were US&S 12x24s (likely all with Harmon Fading LEDs), but sometime between 2008 and 2013, the lights and base for the gate mast on the far signal were replaced with the current RSI equipment.
Of course, in a testament to RSI's build-quality, the backgrounds and visors on their lights have faded and rusted quite fast over the past 10 or so years, especially when compared to the US&S 12x24s here.
AFAIK, this is also the only crossing on the ATN with US&S 12 inch lights, and was the first crossing I saw with some.
