Old LaGrange Road #2, Buckner, KY

*originally recorded on 5-28-20*

Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.

After catching Q574 in Louisville, we chased it on out to Buckner again. However, before it was able to come, there was some track work going on just north of this crossing, which gave Ethan and I enough time to get some lunch at a nearby Subway.

This crossing is another nice one, featuring some signals which appear to have been installed by CSX in the 1990s. The only change I can see was that one of the lights here was struck at some point and replaced with a newer one, but that's only about it. The lights on the far side are quite nicely faded and the bell here also still sounds rather good, so I'm glad to have recorded this crossing.
They/Them for me, please.
