Recorded on 9-2-20. Another crossing on the NS KC District I’ve managed to film in action! Myles and I went up to the NS KC District since we got the word that NS 8104 (Lehigh Valley) was leading on NS 120. While we was waiting for 8104 to pass by, we decided to get our cameras set up for NS 21T (which was stopped over by Excelsior Springs Junction) since he was getting ready to move. The crossing itself features a pair of newer NS signals that were installed in 2018 replacing a pair of crossbucks that used to exist here. Both signals feature a pair of Siemens gate mechanisms, Safetran 12x20 lights with GE Fading leds in them, either Reco or NEG led gate lights, and two gs type 2 e bells that ring from startup until the gates lower. Not the most interesting crossing on the KC District, but still a decent setup nonetheless.
