Pedestrian Crossing, Seattle, WA
*originally recorded on 8-28-22*
The lone signal here has 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs and a GE electronic bell.
This was the next crossing I recorded on the Link Light Rail, with it being the one at the SODO station. Here we see a northbound light rail train pulling into the station here.
After catching the northbound light rail train, I set-up on the other side for a southbound light rail that was coming next. As you can see, a few people decide to stupidly walk across while the train was sitting at the station even though the crossing is active.
This crossing features a singular gateless signal between the two tracks, installed back when this line was being built back in the mid-2000s. No changes have occurred to it since, and hopefully no changes will occur to it for many more years to come.
They/Them for me, please.
