After catching I126 in Trezevant, I continued chasing it southwest. I wasn't able to beat it to Milan, and while I was able to get ahead of it by Gibson, the one crossing I immediately found upon entering the town there wasn't too interesting. I did quickly take the time though to check the site, and found-out that there were some nice older L&N installs in Humboldt, so I continued on down here. After a bit of waiting here, I126 got close, but wound-up going into the siding on the northeast side of Humboldt. After a bit more waiting I heard a nearby I125 approaching, and a little while later, I caught my fourth train of the day: I125 with a pair of AC44CWs for power.

This crossing is another very nice one, featuring a mid to late-70s L&N install that's still largely original. Unfortunately, the original (Federal Signal?) mechanical bell here was replaced sometime between 2012 and 2020 with the current NEG e-bell, but the signals here are still largely original otherwise. These signals also still retain their original inverted 3 Tracks signs, which are quite nice to see as they're quite hard to find these days. In fact, I believe this is the first crossing I've filmed with any inverted Tracks signs.
Hopefully these classic L&N signals remain around here for many more years to come, but either way I'm quite glad I was able to film them.
