Old pictures of railroad crossings in DeKalb IL

I finally was able to find pictures of the crossings in DeKalb before the wayside horns were installed. TommyBNSF will be excited. Please note I did not take any of these pictures. I found them on Railpictures.net and railroad pictures archives.

I'd recommend just linking to the pages you found those on, and some of the links don't even work it appears.

Rail pictures.net is weird with how the links work so I had to put those in a folder. Though I think I will just have it pull up the De Kalb search results instead

Surely just linking to a page directly like this should work.

Also, just FYI, if you're adding something else onto a thread, and it's only been a couple of hours since your last post and no-one's responded since, just edit your post with the new stuff you want to add. I also assume this is one of the pictures you wanted to share earlier, which appears to have also been posted to rrpicturearchives. Those old WRRS signals and semaphore gate mechs are neat to see, though.

Got it. I’m new to this and there are some things that are missing that should be here in the forum. Also I hope wayside horns aren’t like an offensive thing for this community. And yes that is one of the pictures
