*originally recorded on 12-6-23*

Signal on the left: 3.5 pairs of Modern Industries 12x20 inch lights, 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light, an NEG electronic bell, a GRS gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x20 inch lights, a GRS gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After M209 came through, the signal at North End Bowling Green upgraded for another southbound, so I went up to this crossing to wait on it. Not too long after I got here, this CSX I141 came through with an ES44AH leading an ES40DC for power.

This crossing is another good one, featuring a 1970s L&N install that's still largely original. In the 1990s, CSX replaced the front-left light on the far signal with the current Safetran 12x24. Then, sometime between 2013 and 2018, the bell here was replaced by the current NEG e-bell. Since then, however, thankfully no further major changes have occurred to this crossing. The MI 12x20 inch lights here also look rather nicely aged as well, and I'm glad I got to film another pair of GRS Type D gate mechs in action.
