This storm pretty much formed right above my neighborhood. It was sunny, then all of the sudden I noticed it started getting dark and then I started hearing thunder. About 20 minutes later this is what it looked like outside:
According to the NWS, we had ping-pong size hail in my part of town. I don't think it was necessarily that big at my house, but it did make quite a noise hitting the plastic skylights of my trailer:
I also took a video outside my front window. Check out the hail hitting the water that was ponding in the roadway!

It beats 2" hail, like we had nearly 10 years ago. We have skylights too, and they were destroyed almost instantly once the hail got big enough.
