After catching 355, I went on up to this crossing for the third southbound. After a little bit of waiting (during which is nearly snuck-up on me), I was able to get my fourth train of the day: NS A54 with an SD40-2 for power. After the train passes, I left my camera rolling so y'all could hear it blowing for the crossings through downtown Fort Payne.

This crossing is another decent one, featuring another early-2000s NS install that's still almost entirely original. Like with many of the ones along this line, the only major change here is that, at some point, NS restriped both of the original gate arms here, and a little bit of the old diagonal striping can still be seen poking out on the bases of the gate arms. Admittedly, this ain't the most interesting one out there, but it is always nice filming another fully incandescent crossing. The gate arm of the right-hand signal here also bonks into the mast.
