*originally recorded on 8-10-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights and a WCH mechanical bell.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights.

After catching the northbound mixed freight at US 29 in West Point, we hopped on across the Alabama state line over to this crossing Huguley that I hadn't filmed yet. After a little while of waiting, we were finally able to catch CSX M605 once again, and I was able to get a much better video of it as a result! Definitely nice to get some shots of the Western Maryland sticker unit leading, TBH.

This crossing is a great one, featuring a gateless early-90s CSX install that's basically still entirely original. It appears that the Western Railway of Alabama had some gateless signals they had installed here decades ago, however, in the early-90s, CSX replaced both of the mast signals here with the current ones. Thankfully, since then, nothing else seems to have changed to this crossing, which I'm quite glad to see. Hopefully these older CSX signals here remain for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm quite glad I got to film them when I did.
