*originally recorded on 9-3-25*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

After catching the Madison County, AL, monthly siren test, I immediately hit the road to try and get Memphis's test, hoping they'd test. Sadly, as I was flying down US 72 just west of Corinth, I got the word that Memphis had announced their test was cancelled, so I swung back around and decided to do some railfanning around Corinth instead. I decided to hang-out in the downtown to wait for the CPKC local to get going, though, while I was waiting, I heard a westbound approaching on the NS Memphis West, so I decided to try and hop over to this crossing to catch it. Thankfully, I was able to beat the westbound here with a few minutes to spare, and here we get to see my fourth train of the day: NS 101 with a UP SD70ACe leading a UP ET44AH for power.

This crossing is another decent one, featuring yet another 2000s NS install at it that's largely unchanged. The GS Type 2 here is rather faded, and is probably the most faded GS Type 2 e-bell I've ever seen in person. Regardless, I'm still glad I was finally able to get this one, as I've had my eye on it for quite a while, admittedly.
