Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with Leotek EV Series LEDs, 2.5 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights, 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After catching I129 at Sugg Street, we decided to go a block north to this crossing on Center Street to wait for our next train. After a bit of waiting, we were able to catch our second train of the day: a southbound CSX mixed freight with a pair of CM44ACs sandwiching an AC44CW for power.

This crossing is another great one, and I'm glad I got to record it. The signals here were installed by CSX back in the late-90s, it appears, and are still largely original. Sometime between 2008 and 2014, it appears, CSX replaced one overhead light on each signal (both facing towards my camera though) with the current Safetran 12x24s. Then, sometime between 2016 and 2019, the counterweight arms on the closer signal were replaced with the current ones. Finally, sometime in 2021, CSX upgraded the mast lights here to LED.
Thankfully, the overhead lights on both signals here are still incandescent, which is rather nice to see. I'm glad to see the original GS Type 1 e-bell is still here as well, and still sounds nice and healthy. Hopefully this crossing continues to remain unchanged for many more years to come, though I'm glad I got another GS Type 1 recorded in action.
