The traffic got treated to quite the sh t show as far the gates going up and down over and over.

I've actually witnessed a malfunction like that before a few years ago in Pleasant Hill at 1st St when an empty coal train with UP 1983 leading was merging onto the Sedalia Sub from the MNA line. Line itself usually sees around 4-6 trains including the coal trains that have trackage rights plus the Mon-Fri MNA local that runs to and from KC. I want to say this was caused by a bad circuit detection at the time of the video.
