Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
After catching Amtrak 20 at Owen Circle, PlyingKibbles89 and I saw that the westbound mixed freight was getting ready to move, so we hopped on over to this crossing and hoped it'd have enough light for at least a decent video. Thankfully, we still had just enough twilight for such a video, and here we get to see our ninth train of the day: a westbound NS mixed freight with an SD70ACe leading an AC44C6M and another SD70ACe for power.
This crossing is a pretty decent one, featuring a decently-original 2000s NS install at it still. At some point between 2015 and 2021, NS replaced both of the original GS (Type 2, I assume) e-bells here with the current GS Type 3 e-bells. Thankfully, since then, nothing else too major has changed to this crossing, which is nice to see. Always nice to get another fully incandescent crossing like this filmed, especially late in the evening like this, NGL.
