This crossing is located on the NS Chicago Line.

These signals were installed in the mid 2000s replacing old GRS signals. The southern one was replaced first, then the northern one about a year laer.

INDOT pictures from 2002 shows a pair of older GRS/WRRS gated signals with all 8 inch incandescents, GRS/WRRS Type B gate mechanisms, NEG incandescents, and a WRRS Mechanical and GS E-Bell. Sometime in the mid 2000s, both signals were replaced with newer ones. The southern signal was replaced first, followed by the northern one a year later.
