Strange yellow signal

What is this? I dont see any roads so is it a wayside signal, buy why is it yellow if a train is going past in the opposite direction?

In my experience D=derail
how ever I don't see why a derail switch would be there
Shortlines sometimes come up with their own signals and signs so who knows what it's for.

I'm familiar with that area since it's close to where I live.

I'm guessing that's the Eastbound approach signal for the Government Bridge (swing span) over the Mississippi River.

NICE Chinese built locomotives for a US celebration, they sure do own us.
I guess the D=Drawbridge in this case then, I'll read up on CSXT line rules for draw and swing bridges and also check out signage.

D designates a Distant signal.
