One of the NS engineers I know always signs up to run the operation lifesaver officer on the train.
Back in 2005 he was running that train and nailed a semi at 45MPH, needless to say railroad safety got driven home until the truck drivers widow sued my friend, NS and NCDOT. The stupid lawyers made it seem like my friend drove the train into the truck intentionally.
NS counter sued, NCDOT added gates and lights to the crossing and my friend got stuck into a lawsuit for the next 4 years plus having to take time off because of the back injury he sustained.

Heres another few clips all shot from one run in one day.

Couple cars run the lights (no close call)

Car stops at FL crossing (what a surprise) 2 cars and semi dodge the gates at the next crossing (no close call)

Keep and eye out on the people to the left.

And I'm sure all of you have seen this clip

If you continue watching the video in that 2nd link from where it was started... there are a few crossings with some complicated configurations as you go through the main part of town.

So those are the people responsible to the elimination of the buckeyes? :Curse1: Grr..... one week a local crossing has buckeyes the next a standard cross buck with a yield sign.
The buckeyes are very visible and were an Ohio specialty. Oh well if any one needs some detail shots i've got some laying around.
Thanks,
Zach

They'll all be removed soon anyway.
