The first signal has standard 8 inch lights with a warning sign about remote controlled locomotives. Then, behind it at the actual crossing it looks like they have some homemade-type signals that appear to be solar powered. Would be interesting to see how this set up works.
Great find! Defiantly an odd setup. I've seen those odd solar powered signals appear on Google Images every now and then, they always seem to be in industrial areas. That standard signal being used as an advanced warning signal is pretty strange too.
The 8 inch lights on the advance signal are from RACO as well!

Also, the ones at the actual crossing (the "homemade" ones) are produced by an actual company, IIRC. I remember seeing them mentioned here before.

Also, I found this nearby, a BNSF "executive" SD70MAC leading a BNSF "Fakebonnet" Dash-9!

They/Them for me, please.

Here are some classic 8'' signals. I wonder if these crossings function as a double crossing? https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2404444 ... 1664?hl=en

Nice find! You don't see to many of those WABCO gate mechs in this part of the US!
Those are the extendable cantilevers that WRRS, Federal Signal, and WCH made.
Here's a crossing on the site with these:

Well that line's clearly abandoned. Pretty neat stuff along it.
Oh definitely. Power has also been cut from these signals too, and that's especially indicated in the first two signals.

This crossing may have been posted before... if so, I don't remember it. This is in Swainsboro, GA. It used to have some rather unique signals. Unfortunately, there are now just standard gates here... but go back to 2012 and take a look at what things used to look like:

2014: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5946863 ... 56!6m1!1e1
2012: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5945977 ... 56!6m1!1e1

I also wonder if this guy is still hooked up: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5946655 ... 56!6m1!1e1. There was one on the other side of the crossing as well (in 2012) but it is no longer there.

This video is what drew my attention to this crossing:

Huh, the new signals have Harmon lights. I guess that answers a previous question I had.

I just noticed this also... the next crossing to the south is missing something: https://www.google.com/maps/@32.5878083 ... 312!8i6656. Wonder if maybe these tracks are no longer in use?
