I don't have much of any inside my crossing area, but here's what I found on Google maps:

Gulfport, Mississippi
(U.S 49 / I-10 interchange)

New Iberia, Louisiana
(U.S. 90)

This crossing was a nightmare to work on.
When a truck hits the gate here that spring saver doesn't do anything.

Switched to full 41' Aluminum high wind profile gates there, they work well on BAYL and FEC.
They seem to "bounce" off the tops of semis if you set your counter weighting right, however nothing works if its a direct hit or gets caught on something, and they are also a great lightning rod.
So as taught in school always use a rubber tip  and ground it.

It seems a bit stupid to put grade crossings on freeways. Here in Australia, they always build freeways grade separated from train lines.

Though, there's a few crossings close to freeway interchanges.

For example, High Street in Glen Iris.
