Because it has been a while since we've talked about them, so I re-posted them just to give them a fresh feel to newer members. I don't have any interest in doing this to other crossings, I just thought these were worth re-posting. Several stuff about them that I posted wasn't discussed here before too.

Makes sense! For what it's worth though, when I first joined four years ago, all I did was go through this thread page after page and link after link. :LOL3:

Huh, I guess this a new type of Spanish crossing signals that I've never seen before, either that or they just decided to use traffic signals for this crossing for some reason.

Okay, so this is odd. Here we have a SEPTA crossing that had a mechanical bell in 2007:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154368 ... 328!8i1664
But by 2012, the bell had been replaced with an electronic bell:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154272 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154235 ... 312!8i6656
However, go forwards to 2015, and we have a WCH mechanical bell at this crossing again!
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154471 ... 312!8i6656
Also, these lights just look weird:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154319 ... 312!8i6656
Though I know it's because of this:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9154332 ... 312!8i6656
Some more wide lights at the crossing:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.915427, ... 312!8i6656

However, the next crossing down didn't have a bell back in 2012:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9169568 ... 312!8i6656
But now it has a General Signals e-bell at it:
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9170033 ... 312!8i6656
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9170777 ... 312!8i6656
Maybe that's what happened to the e-bell at the first crossing?

Active crossing in Yogyakarta, Indonesia:
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.7894441 ... 6656?hl=en

The next crossing down also appears to use gate mechanisms from Machinefabriek Alkmaar (Machinefactory Alkmaar), who makes the crossing equipment for the Neatherlands:
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.7901017 ... 6656?hl=en

The next crossings after have similar set-ups for the one above, except with Machinefabriek Alkmaar lights on them! No EBA e-bells though:
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.7890029 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.7884665 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.788281, ... 6656?hl=en

Another one without lights:
https://www.google.com/maps/@-7.7879349 ... 6656?hl=en
They/Them for me, please.

A Australian-style crossbuck in Longview, Washington:

Not sure if Australian...or Canadian on that crossbuck :Tongue1:

Railway Crossing crossbucks were used here in the US in the past by some railroads it appears.

Well at least Canada hasn't outlawed new installations of 8" lights on public at-grade crossings, although these appear to be retrofitted.
