Here is a crossing without any form of signage with the exception of advance warning signs!

https://www.google.com/maps/@40.1486174 ... 6656?hl=en
It appears that operations over this crossing are used with a track mobile so maybe that could be a reason or a contributing reason?

-------------------
Classic signal!

More classic signals!

FRA violation?

-------------------
Interesting.....

-------------------
Kind of an interesting setup.

https://www.google.com/maps/@44.7976747 ... 6656?hl=en
-------------------
Here is one of those signals that has lights on the top of the signal (we'll have to thing of something to call signals that at like that), this setup is due to a hill right next to the crossing. For some reason I've always been a fan of signals like this one.

https://www.google.com/maps/@44.9211532 ... 6656?hl=en
-------------------
It appears that this classic cantilever signal has been refurbished (for lack of a better term) and it also has new lights! :TUP2:

I'll guess and say that this line is out of service.
Very much so! However, those stop signs may no longer be there, because that does look like a very new installation at the time GSV went on by.

I highly doubt that the line is abandon, the lights at the facility are on and I can't image they would just leave those cars and that track mobile behind.

That would make sense, that is probably why those papers are there.

Just because a rail line goes abandoned doesn't mean the business has to go too. They could be using different means of transportation now, such as semi trucks.

I think it just isn't marked due to being an industrial spur.
They/Them for me, please.

Probably true, especially because it appears that a track mobile does most if not all of the operates over the crossing, I assume that it would be flagged. I wonder if this is an FRA violation?

Flagging may actually protect the crossing from being a violation, but I'm not so sure on that.
