Interesting.......
------------------------------
This signal seems unnecessary, this signal seems to do the job just fine.
------------------------------
This crossbuck post seems unnecessarily tall, there really isn't much of a hill there. The crossbuck also needs to be replaced.
------------------------------
Private crossing and an interesting steam locomotive!

Appears to be part of some sort of museum.

The height of that crossbuck is more than likely due to the US highway signage standing right in front of it.

I understand that we can see what are clear from your links, however I think it might be best to at least provide a teaser/description instead of just posting the link, because sometimes we might not know what to look for.

Check out the traffic light cantilever, and the traffic light pole on the right side. This crossing is from Santa Maria, CA:

2 teardrops:

I've got some more stuff to post from here... but it will have to wait until next time.

RACO 12x20s on the overhead there! :TUP1:
https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9387379 ... 6656?hl=en
Looks like the other signal has some too!

These are the first RACO 12 inch lights I've seen outside of the SE!

And hexagonal gates too. Sadly, they've been replaced and the crossing now has standard gates with 4 inch gate lights:

Closer view of the crossing in action:

And the gates rising:

Three UP SD70Ms for power as well:
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3847023 ... 6?hl=en-US
No idea on who made these incandescent gate lights though:
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.3847382 ... 6?hl=en-US
Also, going back in time to 2008, the signal with the WCH e-bell had a mechanical bell. However, the newer 12x24 inch signal replaced another older WCH signal (like the one on the right), but that one had an e-bell!

The one crossbuck likely dates back from before the signals were installed and there were actually 7 tracks there.
They/Them for me, please.
