Stop Signs, Advance Warning, and other lights request

Talk about other non-signal stuff here. Make sure to obey the rules though.

Here's one I just thought of that is on StreetView. The other's are fairly new so I don't think they would be out there.

Interesting view that Google got...

I've seen some of these signs with one and two lights. Which do you prefer?

Mike....this is the style school zone sign I'll be getting you.

And the unique signal ahead sign...sorry a view from the side of the street is unavailable but you get the idea.

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

OK Mike, I got your pictures and a few quick video's as well. I'm going to post each one separately since I'm limited to 3 attachments per post for some reason.

This is a solar stop sign red light that was installed about 6 months ago right next to one of our hospitals.

First here is a short video (the light does not actually strobe, the camera made it look like it does though):

This is video of another solar stop sign light, just like the one above, but at a different intersection. I put the camera on my dash and drove up to the sign so you could see what it would look like if you were driving up to one in your car. (Again, it doesn't actually strobe, the camera is doing that).

Notice at the end the camera falls off the dash... oops!!

3rd one is an incandescent red flashing light located inside a parking garage downtown.

And lastly... this is a solar yellow light that actually does strobe just like it looks in the video. There are 8 of these at 2 different intersections within 4 blocks of each other. Both the intersections usually have the highest accident rates per year, so I guess they thought putting these signs up might help.

I hope this is what you were looking for. Let me know if you would like me to try to get anything else. :Okay:

That's fine. Thanks.

I don't know why, but I really like those old cast iron signs. I've always liked how the backs of the signs are colored.

If there are any others around, please post them.

I fixed the maximum number of attachments per post...and made it 15. I did it before you posted this message...from your previous post in another fourm stating that you couldn't post more than 3. It should work ok now. If not...let me or Mike know...
