um okay so now the current standard is to mount the lights gates and crossbucks on the side of the street?

Pretty sure that's always been the standard. :Tongue2:
That's certainly an unusual way of doing a cantilever like that though. Normally, those cantilevers have the part with the gate mech and lights in front or behind the cantilever mast, not to the side underneath the arm like that.

It happens. Plus WCH still makes mechanical bells as well

Transport Products did not make that style of cantilever.
