After I shot I026, I snagged some lunch and made my way over to this crossing in Nashville, as I saw M584 was starting to get close. After about an hour of so of waiting, I was able to get my fourth train of the day: CSX M584 crawling its way into Radnor Yard with an AC44CW leading an ES44AH and a GP38-2 for power!

This crossing is a pretty decent one, featuring a modernized pair of gateless signals at it. It appears that, previously, there was an old L&N install here with an MI bell, but, in the 1990s, CSX replaced the signals here with the current ones, reusing the bell here in the process. The signals were largely unchanged for a few years, but, sometime between 2011 and 2013, CSX replaced the WCH mechanical bell on the right-hand signal with the current NEG e-bell. Then, sometime between 2015 and 2017, CSX replaced the Safetran incandescent lights here with the current LED WCH 12x24 inch heads. Since then, however, thankfully no further changes have occurred here. It's a shame to see that the MI here is dead though, but given how long this crossing is often active for, it ain't a big surprise that it is.
