This was one of the more classic installs left in the area, and even more so now. Several other sets of Safetran"EM" signals in West Allis had been replaced in the five years prior to this video, and I believe the only others then surviving have been eliminated in the five years since (by the closure of the 55th Street crossing), making this the last crossing in the city with them. The next crossing timetable westward on the subdivision, Potter Road in Wauwatosa, also still has them as of April 2025 per Street View.

Too bad the Safetran mechanical bell is dead, and I missed the activation because the train snuck up on me.
