Ha ha...actually, to be honest with you, I don't care for the 12" ones really. They are too "bug eye" looking. Stick with the 8" ones...

I hate the appearance of those lamps, but understand how they minimize snow obstruction.

Sometimes some people refer to 12"x20" frames as 20", and 12"x24" as 24", meaning the backgrounds (black discs) are either 20" or 24" wide.

No, the original ones were 8 3/8" with 20" backgrounds. I meant to say 12", not 20".

No, the original ones were 8 3/8" with 20" backgrounds. I meant to say 12", not 20".
I corrected it above.

The original "mee-mool lights" (o)=(o) (what I named them as a four year old), were 8-3/8s with 20" background disks?
I did not realize the disks were that large.
