That piece of equipment is pretty far from the crossing and appears to be stationary.
It can appear to be stationery because GSV doesn't capture video but also, you don't know how far back the detection equipment is either, and it could have very well triggered the signals

Obviously it doesn't. I didn't really think that one through. I noticed that too when I went further from the crossing, I thought that was pretty strange sense HAWK signals alternate when flashing, not simultaneously.
Since GSV has been going around Melbourne recently, they've captured several of the dreaded LXRA signs seen at crossings that they're gonna grade separated...
