How not to unload a unit coal train.

Can't have signals without railroads, so talk about your favorite locomotives, railroads and any other (non signal) railroad related stuff.

How not to unload a unit coal train.

As you may know, many coal trains are unloaded by turning each car almost upside down in a car dumper without uncoupling it. To do this, each car is equipped with a rotary coupler at one end that allows the car to revolve around the coupler without disturbing the cars ahead and behind it, which remain in place. As you can see, it is VERY important to make sure the coupler next to the locomotive is equipped with a rotary coupler.
