Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, 2 pairs of Harmon 12x20 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, an ASC electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and Alstom LED gate lights.

This [the 34th Street] crossing has a pair of signals dating back to when the Southern Pacific still operated this as a branch line, and has received a few upgrades since (such as the bells, LED lights, and gate mechanisms), but is still relatively unchanged. This crossing was likely one of the earlier SCART crossings to get e-bells, as this crossing features a pair of ASC electronic bells. It also has the last pair of incandescent lights on the SACRT system, though sadly, one of them is blown. In fact, the incandescent lights were the reason I set-up on this side, despite the shot being backlit. The reason the one pair of side lights managed to survive without an LED upgrade is due to them facing west for years towards absolutely nothing. It appears that they once protected traffic pulling out of the parking lot just to the right of my camera, but the driveway they would've protected has long since disappeared, but it wasn't until just earlier this year that SACRT turned them around to face R Street/Stockton Boulevard. This is also just technically half of the crossing in question, with the other half being Stockton Boulevard.

Like the 34th Street "half" of the crossing, this [the Stockton Boulevard] crossing also features some equipment dating back to the Southern Pacific, though in this case, it appears to only be the cantilever and mast lights on the right. It appears that there was probably another similar cantilever on the far side, though it was likely knocked down and had to be replaced with the current one at some point, with the lights being re-used. The right-hand cantilever also lacked side lights 10 years ago, with them having been installed sometime between 2008 and 2011 (according to streetview). The side lights were also re-used from another crossing, as they date back to the 1990s.
Also, for some reason, SACRT felt the need to install a pair of mast signals for R Street, in addition to the side lights on the left-hand cantilever, meaning that R Street has a total of three pairs of lights facing it from this crossing. However, this is despite the fact that traffic coming off of R Street isn't legally allowed to turn left across this crossing! R Street also has a fourth pair of lights facing it from 34th Street, but that one kinda makes sense since traffic from R Street can turn left onto 34th Street after turning onto Stockton Boulevard. Maybe that's also why SACRT's left the three other pairs of lights facing R Street, aside from the two mast signals also having "No Left Turn" signs mounted to them...
